About Illinois Biodiesel

Illinois Biodiesel is a registered student organization at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that is committed to: 1) reduce emissions and 2) promote sustainability initiatives on said campus. We accomplish our two main objectives through producing and offering cleaner-burning fuel, biofuel, on campus that is produced from waste vegetable oil from campus dining halls. We also produce soap from biodiesel production byproducts —glycerol.

History of Illinois Biodiesel

Illinois Biodiesel was founded as "Illinois Biodiesel Initiative" during 2006, as a spin-off project from Engineer's Without Borders by <founding member name(s)>.
